We're Big Bikers!

I am so proud of our office for actively participating in our community!  Yesterday, we hopped aboard the Big Bike for the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Shae and I getting ready to pedal.

Susan Tough, our Managing Broker, and Kimberly Mahmoud, her assistant work really hard to include our office in so many events around the city.  We do a huge Toys for Tots campaign, a Canadian Blood Services Drive, the Bowl for Big Brothers & Big Sisters, the Heart & Stroke Big Bike... we are always involved, and that takes an incredible amount of planning, cheerleading and motivating.  It really shows their heart and caring.  I feel fortunate that I can just show up and be involved!

Gary raised over $1000 with your help!

Gary did an incredible job fundraising, and was recognized for his donations exceeding $1000!
He was quick to point out that it only took an e-mail to our clients, who generously jumped on board with the effort to raise money for this incredible cause!  Thank you, everyone for showing your heart.

I wanted to pass on the 5 ways you can spot a stroke.  This is great information to share with your friends and family!  Call 911 if you notice these signs in a friend, colleague or loved one.

Weakness - Sudden loss of strength or sudden numbness in the face, arm or leg, even if temporary.

Trouble speaking - Sudden difficulty speaking or understanding or sudden confusion, even if temporary.

Vision problems - Sudden trouble with vision, even if temporary.

Headache - Sudden severe and unusual headache.

Dizziness - Sudden loss of balance, especially with any of the above signs.
